*** SATURDAY ****

NOTE 1 – this is a working environment where you will be busy, but there will be lots of distractions to tempt you away from the task…deal with it as best you can.

NOTE 2 – There will be ad hoc skill learning opportunities, but most of the learning will be from mucking in with your colleagues on the job.

NOTE 3 : Food will be provided throughout both days.

9AM to 9:15 AM  – Networking/Chatting/Encourage people to say hello to each other…

9:15AM to 9:45 AMGame Pitches – people pop up and pitch a game idea – 3 mins each…time for at least 6 pitches

NOTE – We will try to pair up inexperienced people with more experienced people

9:45 AM to 10AM – Team formation – idea pitcher first, then coder, then writer, then artist, then tester, then entrepreneur

Once teams are in place, they get about it, but people are free to wander off and play with the HTC Vive, the Robot or other goodies

10 AM to 11:30 AM – Start Working – ask everyone to prepare a Show and Tell for Hex by 11:30AM

11:30 AM – Hex arrives – some speeches – Liam (1 min), Chris(2 mins), Andrew(2 mins), Hex (10 mins)

11:45 AM – Show and Tell – 3 mins from each team

12:45 to 1:45 PM – Lunch…then people resume work at their leisure

2:30 PM to 3:30 PM – Hex ‘Tour of the Tables’

4 PM to 4:30 PM – Autism Lab meeting with Hex

5 PM –  Devika, Siege Sloth and Buzzy TV – demo/talk (this can run over dinner)

5:30 PM to 6:30 PM  – Dinner

6:30 PM to 9:30 PM – Teams resume game-making

9:30 PM – Everyone Leaves for the night

*** SUNDAY ****

9 to 9:15 AM  – Everyone arrives back and starts again

11:30 AM – IBM SoftLayer Panel Discussion with Brendan Yell  – Live on Facebook (The Loaded Gamer) – featuring Hex and a representative from South Coast Arts

12:30 PM to 1:30 PM – Judges to tour the tables and ask questions

1:30 PM to 2:15 PM – Lunch-time Pitches – last chance for teams to impress Judges

2:30 PM to 2:50 PM – Winners announced – $500 prize

2:50 PM –  Bye Bye to Hex

3 PM to 5PM – Have fun…Game time!

5PM – Everyone Leaves
